Nvidia has announced strategic partnerships with South Korea's SK Hynix, Naver, and Doosan Group to establish AI data centres, furthering its role in the AI sector. During a visit by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, the companies agreed to leverage Nvidia's technology to enhance AI capabilities. SK Hynix will engage in a multi-year partnership with Nvidia to develop next-generation memory solutions, which are crucial for AI data centres. This collaboration aims to explore new AI domains, including personal and physical AI, while ensuring a reliable supply of advanced memory chips. Additionally, SK Telecom plans to construct a gigawatt-scale AI cloud, with the first data centre projected to be operational by 2027. Doosan Group will utilize Nvidia's technology in its AI data centres and integrate energy solutions into Nvidia’s platforms.
