Sanjay Dutt stars in the upcoming courtroom drama Aakhri Sawal, which is scheduled for release on May 8. However, the film's trailer, initially set to debut on April 30, has been postponed due to pending clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Reports indicate that the censors have requested certain changes before granting approval. The film aims to present a powerful narrative inspired by the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), founded in 1925. It promises to delve into significant historical events, including the ban following Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination and the Babri Masjid demolition controversy. Directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, known for his work on the Marathi film Picasso, Aakhri Sawal features a strong cast including Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, and Neetu Chandra. In addition to this project, Dutt recently announced a sequel to his classic film Khalnayak, which has excited fans as it recalls the cult classic's legacy.
