On June 2, 2026, US Ignite launched the Supporting U.S. Regional Growth & Entrepreneurship (SURGE) Program, a $3.9 million initiative supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). This program is designed to provide regional coalitions with the necessary structure, guidance, and connections to promote innovation and economic growth. The SURGE program features a four-phase model: Diagnose, Strategize, Connect & Execute, and Sustain, aimed at helping coalitions overcome barriers and develop tailored action plans.
