In a virtual interaction organized by the Sports Authority of India, Vennam expressed her excitement about the Olympics but stated that her focus remains on the immediate competitions. She highlighted her recent achievement of setting a world record in mixed team compound archery alongside Rishabh Yadav. As a member of the Indian squad for the Asian Games starting on September 19, 2023, she will lead the women's compound team, which includes teammates Chikitha Taniparthi and Prithika Pradeep. Vennam also discussed the rigorous selection trials, emphasizing the team's experience and collaborative spirit, which she believes will contribute to their success in the upcoming events.
