Money Saving Expert has issued an "unusual" update for all Tesco Clubcard holders. MSE, the site founded by BBC and ITV star Martin Lewis, wrote on X, formerly Twitter. It said: "Here's an unusual way to boost your Clubcard points this month... Each time you vote on Britain's Got Talent online you can nab 50 points! There are five more shows scheduled throughout May, so that's 250 FREE points up for grabs." "It's the equivalent of £2.50 to spend at Tesco, or up to £7.50 with Clubcard Reward Partners," MSE continued. It said: "Here's how it works and how to make the most of your Clubcard points:." If you missed Saturday’s free points, don’t worry as there are still five more live shows throughout May. To participate, shoppers need both a Tesco Clubcard and a free ITV.com account, with voting opening during each live programme. Those who take part in all five remaining shows can accumulate up to 250 Clubcard points, which translates to £2.50 when spent at Tesco stores. But the value increases significantly when redeemed through Clubcard Reward Partners, where the same points stretch to as much as £7.50. As well as the Clubcard move, Tesco has also made a significant pricing move affecting convenience shoppers. The retailer has extended its Aldi Price Match scheme to more than 2,000 Express stores nationwide, covering over 200 everyday products. Items included range from pasta and milk to fresh vegetables, with all price-matched goods clearly labelled on shelves. Tesco UK chief executive Ashwin Prasad said: "We know that household budgets are again under pressure, but we are committed to keeping the cost of the weekly food shop affordable for Tesco customers."
