Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has officially launched the first phase of its clean energy operations at the Dhirubhai AmbGreen Energy Giga Complex located in Jamnagar, India. The company has successfully commissioned its initial 200 MWp of heterojunction solar modules and introduced 720 Wp solar panels that boast a 10% higher energy yield and 25% lower degradation than industry standards. RIL's fiscal contributions to the national exchequer reached ₹2,16,472 crore in FY26, marking a 2.95% increase from the previous year. The company is also advancing its battery energy storage system giga-factory, with civil construction completed and production set to ramp up in the latter half of 2026. Furthermore, RIL has invested significantly in research and development, with expenditures rising by 11.9% to ₹4,682 crore, supporting a workforce of over 1,000 specialists.
