Patrick Bruel, a prominent French singer and actor, has decided to cancel all his summer concerts scheduled from June to September due to mounting pressure from feminist activists and social media outrage related to allegations of sexual violence against him. His production company, 14 Productions, stated that several festival organizers faced difficulties in organizing events due to the controversy. Bruel's three concerts planned for June at the Cirque d'Hiver in Paris are also canceled, although his fall tour dates in October and November remain scheduled for now. A petition demanding the cancellation of his tour has attracted more than 47,000 signatures, and several mayors, including those of Paris and Marseille, have publicly urged him to withdraw from performing in their cities. Bruel is currently facing at least eight complaints of sexual assault in France and an investigation in Belgium, which he denies. In light of these allegations, his songs have been removed from the popular TV program 'N'oubliez pas les paroles' and from radio playlists.
