After a sold-out concert at Manchester's O2 Victoria Warehouse, pop star PinkPantheress surprised fans with an appearance at Via in Manchester's Gay Village. The 25-year-old artist, who won the 2026 BRIT Award for Producer of the Year, joined drag performer Bailey J Mills for an impromptu rendition of her hit 'Stateside'. The event, hosted by DJ Monopoly Phonic, was an unofficial after-party following her first show of the An Evening With... PinkPantheress tour. Fans expressed their excitement on social media, with one stating they were 'still in disbelief' over the surprise. PinkPantheress, whose real name is Victoria Beverley Walker, has gained significant acclaim since her debut mixtape, To Hell with It, in 2021. Her recent work, Fancy That, was nominated for the Mercury Prize, and she also received the Collaboration of the Year award at the 2026 American Music Awards for her collaboration with Zara Larsson. Via has recently hosted other notable performers, including CMAT and will feature Katie Price during the Manchester Village Pride weekend.
