The Vihang Group, based in Mumbai, has signed a hotel management agreement with Radisson Hotel Group to establish two new hotel projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). With a total investment of ₹180-200 crore (approximately $22-24 million USD), the hotels will be located in Thane and Mira Bhayandar. The Radisson Hotel Mumbai Thane will feature 114 rooms, while the Radisson Hotel Mumbai Mira Bhayandar will offer 103 rooms. Each project is estimated to require a capital expenditure of around ₹90-100 crore (approximately $11-12 million USD), funded through a combination of debt and equity. The Thane hotel will span about 0.75 acres and focus on premium retail and hospitality, while the Mira Bhayandar hotel will be part of a larger mixed-use township covering around 2 acres. The development timeline for both projects is projected at three to four years. This partnership reflects Radisson's strategy to expand in high-potential micromarkets, enhancing asset value and meeting the growing demand for hospitality in emerging business corridors.
