He argues that this approach is disrespectful to fans, who can discern the lack of effort behind AI-generated content. Carneiro believes that the UFC should prioritize authentic interactions with its stars, such as Alex Pereira and Ilia Topuria, instead of relying on technology. He expressed his views during an appearance on 'The Ariel Helwani Show,' stating, 'If you can’t put Alex Pereira or Ilia Topuria on a plane and have them in Washington in front of the White House, I don’t think that’s good.' Carneiro, who also creates content, avoids using AI for his projects, labeling it as 'brain rot.' UFC President Dana White has previously dismissed concerns about AI, telling critics to focus on the fights instead. This ongoing debate highlights the tension between traditional content creation and the increasing reliance on technology in sports promotion.
