The Delhi High Court has issued an interim order preventing EaseMyBiz Technologies LLP from launching its proposed courier services application or activating its website under the name 'EaseMyBiz'. This decision comes in response to a trademark dispute initiated by MakeMyTrip India, which argues that the name could confuse consumers due to its similarity to MakeMyTrip's 'MyBiz' platform. Justice Tushar Rao Gedela stated that the restraint applies only to the digital rollout of the app, which is still under development, and does not affect EaseMyBiz's ongoing courier operations. MakeMyTrip has highlighted the commercial significance of its MyBiz vertical, reporting a turnover of ₹13,688 crore since 2017 and significant promotional expenditures of over ₹361 crore. The court noted that the defendant adopted the 'EaseMyBiz' mark only in April 2025, and the case is set for further hearings in September 2026.
