In a recent incident in Vasant Enclave, New Delhi, two men, Satender Siwach (49), director of Choudhary Aviation Pvt Ltd, and Sanjay Sharma (56), a dhaba owner, were granted bail after being arrested for assaulting Brigadier Parminder Singh Arora and his son. The altercation arose when Brigadier Arora objected to Siwach and Sharma drinking in a parked Mercedes-Benz outside his residence late on Saturday night. Following his objection, a group of seven to eight individuals attacked Arora and his son, leading to injuries. The police have charged the accused under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including criminal intimidation and rioting. As part of their bail conditions, Siwach and Sharma are required to assist with the investigation, which includes reviewing CCTV footage to identify other assailants involved in the incident.
