On Sunday, Bankuru Joginaidu, the Andhra Pradesh State President of Jana Chaitanya Vedika, called on the Union and State governments to introduce legislation for political reservations for backward classes in both Parliament and Legislative Assemblies. During a media interaction, he expressed concerns that only a limited number of dominant communities are currently receiving political reservation benefits, while over 100 communities remain unrepresented. Joginaidu submitted a memorandum to Vizianagaram MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu, who assured him that he would bring the issue to the attention of both governments.
