The population of Lucknow was recorded at approximately 4.59 million in the 2011 Census, reflecting significant growth from 3.65 million in 2001. To facilitate the self-enumeration process, citizens can fill in their details from home using a dedicated portal accessible via mobile devices and computers. Following this, a house-listing phase will occur from May 22 to June 20. The district administration plans to conduct training sessions for municipal corporators and awareness campaigns in educational institutions to inform citizens about the self-enumeration process. Various outreach methods, including broadcasting awareness messages in public spaces, will be employed to encourage participation.
