In the ongoing case of alleged workplace harassment at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) BPO in Nashik, Maharashtra, two complainants resigned less than a week before FIRs were filed based on their complaints. TCS CEO K Krithivasan previously stated that no complaints had been received through the company's ethics or Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) committees. Following the allegations, TCS has engaged Deloitte and law firm Trilegal for an internal investigation, overseen by COO Aarthi Subramanian and an independent oversight committee chaired by Keki Mistry. The case surfaced in February when a political party worker alleged that a female employee was being influenced to adopt Islamic practices at work. This led to police action, resulting in nine FIRs filed against eight individuals, including charges of sexual harassment and religious discrimination. The mental health of the complainants is a growing concern, with reports of depression and anxiety among them, highlighting the emotional toll of the situation.
