Credit unions have been recognized as Ireland's most reputable organization for the fourth consecutive year, achieving a reputation score of 81.7 in a poll conducted by the Reputation Agency. This ranking is based on the emotional bond between organizations and the public, with credit unions leading in public perception of conduct, a key factor in their reputation. David Malone, chief executive of the Irish League of Credit Unions, expressed gratitude for this acknowledgment, noting the trust placed in local credit unions and the positive response to their evolving services. The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) entered the top 10 for the first time, securing second place with a score of 80 following a successful Triple Crown win in the Six Nations Championship. Kevin Potts, chief executive of the IRFU, described the ranking as a significant endorsement of their efforts across Irish rugby. An Post rounded out the top three with a score of 79.8, reflecting strong public confidence in these organizations amid a notable decline in the reputation of global tech companies.
