Mamitha Baiju, who stars alongside Dhanush in the upcoming Tamil film 'Kara', has responded to the backlash regarding casting choices in regional cinema. In an interview, she expressed that she views her casting as an opportunity for exploration and versatility, stating that it is ultimately the director's decision to cast her in a role. Baiju believes that she is not depriving local talent of opportunities, as her goal is to convincingly portray her character, Selli. She highlighted the importance of pushing boundaries in her profession and expressed admiration for Dhanush, describing him as a dedicated actor. 'Kara', directed by Vignesh Raja, features a talented ensemble cast and is set to release in theaters on April 30. The film is produced by Vels Film International and includes music by GV Prakash Kumar.
