The poll, which surveyed 348 players from all 32 NHL teams, also highlighted Nathan MacKinnon as the player with the most intense training regimen, receiving 20.7% of the votes. William Nylander of the Toronto Maple Leafs stood out in off-ice categories, being recognized as the most fashionable player at 32.9% and having the best social media presence at 17.4%. Other notable mentions included Aleksander Barkov, who was voted as the forward most likely to excel as a defenseman at 18%, and Cale Makar, who led among defensemen who could succeed as forwards at 36.3%. The poll also revealed that players favored Houston as the preferred expansion market at 34.3%.
