The registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 will open on April 23, 2026, at 10:00 am and will close on May 2, 2026. Eligible candidates must rank among the top 2.5 lakh from the JEE Main examination and should have been born on or after October 1, 2001. A five-year age relaxation applies for candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, and PwD). Candidates must have appeared for their Class 12 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 2025 or 2026. Those whose boards declare results after June 18, 2024, can also apply if they meet other eligibility criteria. The registration fee is ₹3,200 for general candidates and ₹1,600 for female and reserved category candidates. Foreign nationals will pay $100 or $200 depending on their country of origin. The JEE Advanced exam will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format on May 17, 2026, with two compulsory papers, each lasting three hours.
