On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira at Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri in Mandya district, Karnataka. This memorial is dedicated to Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, the 71st Pontiff of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math, and serves as a tribute to his life and teachings. Built in the traditional Dravidian architectural style, the Mandira aims to inspire future generations. During the inauguration, Modi also released a book titled ‘Saundarya Lahari and Shiva Mahimna Stotram’ alongside former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. Prior to the inauguration, Modi visited Jwala Peeta, a site associated with Lord Shiva, and offered prayers at the Sri Kalabhairaveshwara Swamy temple. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and the current pontiff, Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswami.
