The land owned by KFCL, which spans about 243 acres in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, is viewed as strategically significant for the development of a logistics park and warehousing hub. This move is expected to enhance APSEZ’s logistics operations in North India and support its goal of expanding its multimodal logistics park (MMLP) network from 12 to 16 by 2031. The acquisition is anticipated to be finalized within 90 days from the NCLT approval date of March 17, 2026, with prior approval from the Competition Commission of India secured in August 2025.
