At 97 years old, Robert Gordon McAfee from the United States has achieved a lifelong dream of flying in zero gravity, setting a world record as the oldest person to do so. McAfee, who grew up in East Tennessee, spent his childhood gazing at the stars and dreaming of flying. After serving in World War II, he became a psychiatrist before retiring at 85.
