Akhtar, who has not publicly commented on the situation, was seen arriving in a casual outfit and quickly entering a building while avoiding interaction with photographers. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh made a public appearance at the airport in a traditional outfit, amid heightened security. The FWICE's decision stems from a complaint filed by Akhtar regarding Singh's withdrawal, which occurred just weeks before filming was scheduled to start. FWICE Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit explained that despite multiple notices sent to Singh, there was no response. Singh's spokesperson later emphasized that he respects the film industry and prefers to handle disputes with dignity, maintaining silence on the matter.
