The current Western Disturbance is waning, resulting in clearer skies across most of the state, although some isolated rainfall and thunderstorms may linger in the Terai region and adjacent districts of Purvanchal. According to Atul Kumar Singh, a senior scientist at the Lucknow Meteorological Office, temperatures could rise significantly following a 6°C increase recorded on Wednesday. While the state capital, Lucknow, is expected to see maximum temperatures around 34°C and minimums at 23°C, residents should remain cautious of potential thunderstorms and gusty winds in localized areas. Despite the warming trend, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that no heatwave conditions are likely during this period.
