Mother Dairy will increase its milk prices by ₹2 per litre starting May 14, 2026, in the Delhi-NCR region. This decision comes after a 6% rise in procurement costs from farmers over the past year. The new prices will see token milk rise from ₹56 to ₹58, full cream milk from ₹70 to ₹72, and toned milk from ₹58 to ₹60, among others. The company emphasized that 75-80% of its revenue from milk sales is allocated to farmers and procurement. This marks the first price adjustment since April 2025. In a similar move, Amul has also raised its prices by up to ₹4 per litre, citing increased operational costs, including cattle feed and fuel.
