This figure represents a substantial increase from $83.15 billion in 2020, showcasing the economic strength of India's global diaspora, particularly in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, United States, and Saudi Arabia. Following India, Mexico secured the second position with $67.64 billion, primarily from migrants in the US. The Philippines came in third with $40.28 billion, while France and Pakistan ranked fourth and fifth, receiving $38.78 billion and $34.91 billion, respectively. Other notable countries in the top ten include China, Egypt, Bangladesh, Guatemala, and Nigeria, all of which rely heavily on remittances to support their economies and households.
