Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has brought back nostalgia by recreating the iconic race car scene from the 2006 hit film 'Golmaal: Fun Unlimited' for the franchise's fifth installment. The original scene featured Arshad Warsi as Madhav and Sharman Joshi as Laxman, engaged in a chaotic car race to win the affection of a girl named Nirali. In a recent video shared on social media, the actors revisited their characters, transitioning from their youthful selves to the present day while waving from a race car. Rohit captioned the post, inviting fans to relive those happy memories, and hinted at the ongoing filming of the new movie. Arshad noted that despite the passage of 20 years, the charm of 'Golmaal' remains unchanged, while Sharman referred to the scene as the “Baap of all throwbacks.” The original film, which starred Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, and others, was inspired by a Marathi play and has since led to four sequels, with the latest featuring Akshay Kumar joining the ensemble cast.
