The ongoing investigation into the harassment case at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, has uncovered alarming details involving a dessert known as 'sheer khurma.' An employee reported feeling intoxicated after consuming the dessert at the home of Tausif Bilal Attar, one of the seven suspects. Allegations suggest that the accused manipulated the victim's emotional state, proposing 'black magic' as a solution to his personal issues, which led to coercion into wearing religious symbols and being filmed. The accused also allegedly submitted false performance reports to undermine the victim's professional standing. Investigators have identified critical evidence, including a photograph of the victim in religious attire shared in a 'TCS Nashik' WhatsApp group. Furthermore, Aadhaar and PAN cards of the victims were discovered at the residence of one suspect, along with personal belongings. The police have arrested seven individuals and filed nine First Information Reports (FIRs) related to the case, which emerged after several women employees reported harassment by their colleagues. TCS has suspended all accused employees pending investigation.
