Raymond and Theresa Taylor, a couple from Timmins, Ontario, celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary on Thursday, surrounded by family and friends. Raymond attributed their successful marriage to their shared commitment and family life, while Theresa humorously noted their mutual roles as 'the boss.' The celebration included congratulatory messages from notable figures, including a blessing from Pope Leo XIV and warm wishes from King Charles III. Their grandson, Ryan, praised their example of a simple life filled with love and faith, while family friend Bob McClusky highlighted their genuine character. The couple continues to live in the home they built together, with most of their seven children residing in the Timmins area.
