Hours later, Iran launched seven ballistic missiles aimed at Kuwait and Bahrain, with six being intercepted by US forces. CENTCOM dismissed Iranian claims of damage to the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain as false. Bahrain's foreign ministry condemned the missile launches as blatant aggression, asserting that they violated the sovereignty of both Bahrain and Kuwait.
