In an interview with Golf Week, English argued that the inclusion of top LIV players like Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau would enhance the competitiveness of the PGA Tour, potentially leading to larger TV contracts and increased viewership. He remarked, 'We’ll have to figure something out because adding some of those guys will put our Tour back where it belongs with our TV contracts coming up.' English also noted that many LIV golfers are becoming disillusioned with the Saudi-backed circuit, realizing that the PGA Tour offers a more fulfilling competitive environment. He highlighted that players are beginning to understand that financial incentives do not equate to satisfaction in their careers, stating, 'They’re seeing the PGA Tour getting stronger and having more success.'
