On Sunday, a Fly91 flight from Hyderabad to Hubballi was forced to divert to Bengaluru after encountering adverse weather conditions. The flight, which took off around 3:30 PM, was scheduled to land in Hubballi at 4:30 PM, but remained airborne for three hours as it circled the destination for about an hour while awaiting improvement in weather. Passengers reported feelings of panic, with some even in tears as they prayed for safety. The aircraft successfully landed in Bengaluru at around 6:30 PM and was later flown back to Hubballi at approximately 11 PM after conditions improved. Airport officials confirmed that all 22 passengers on board were safe, emphasizing that such diversions are standard safety procedures. Similar weather-related disruptions were noted, including another flight from Mumbai to Kolhapur that was diverted to Goa.
