The Marka-i-Haq Monument is currently being constructed in Baggi Park at Kutchery Chowk, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with completion anticipated in the first week of May 2026. The Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) is overseeing the project, which is a replica of a similar monument in H-8 Islamabad but unique as it is built within an existing park without acquiring additional land. Funded by the Punjab government, the monument aims to commemorate the victims and honor the sacrifices of martyrs from the Bunyanum Marsoos operation, symbolizing national unity and resolve. Alongside the monument, the Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation is proposing to rename the Kutchery Chowk flyover and underpass to Marka-i-Haq Flyover and Underpass, pending public objections. Meanwhile, significant progress has been made on the Kutchery Chowk remodeling project, with various components nearing completion, and a record pace of work is being maintained to meet the May 2026 deadline.
