He emphasized that players like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube are expected to step up as the tournament progresses. In contrast, Jaffer pointed out that GT, positioned seventh with three wins from seven matches, has been underperforming, especially in their recent games where they failed to defend a score of 205 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Jaffer believes CSK's quality and recent form make them the favorites for the upcoming clash.
