Avenue Supermarts, which operates DMart, reported a net profit of ₹656.6 crore for the March quarter of FY26, marking a 19% increase from ₹550.90 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's revenue from operations also rose by 19%, reaching ₹17,684 crore, compared to ₹14,872 crore in the previous year. The strong operating performance was highlighted by a 26.7% increase in EBITDA, amounting to ₹1,210.5 crore, with margins improving to 6.85% from 6.42%. Additionally, Avenue Supermarts continued its expansion efforts, adding 58 stores during the quarter and surpassing the milestone of 500 DMart locations. The company's profitability remained stable, with a PAT margin of 3.7% and basic earnings per share (EPS) increasing to ₹10.09 from ₹8.47 a year earlier. The company noted a temporary spike in consumer buying in March 2026 due to geopolitical tensions, although operations did not face significant supply chain disruptions.
