NASA has taken precautionary measures by ordering astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to seek shelter in a SpaceX capsule after a new leak was identified. The leak, located on the Russian segment of the ISS, prompted the five astronauts to temporarily relocate while cosmonauts work on repairs. NASA spokesperson Bethany Stevens stated that the decision was made out of an abundance of caution, especially given the history of cracks and leaks in that area of the space station. In response to the fresh leaks, the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, has opted for more extensive repairs. Both NASA and Roscosmos are currently investigating the underlying causes of the structural problems.
