Virender Sehwag, the former Indian cricketer, has expressed concerns over the performance of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Sarfaraz Khan ahead of their IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans (GT). Sehwag noted that while Khan has made a few contributions, he needs to do more than just score in the 20-30 range. He highlighted the importance of other players stepping up, particularly as CSK relies heavily on Sanju Samson, who is currently the team's top scorer with two hundreds. The uncertainty surrounding MS Dhoni's return adds to CSK's challenges, as he has yet to play this season due to a calf strain. Although he has traveled with the team, his participation remains doubtful as he does not want to disrupt the team's momentum.
