HFCL, a leading telecom gear manufacturer in India, reported a record consolidated profit of ₹184.45 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2026, marking a significant recovery from a loss of ₹83.3 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's revenue more than doubled to ₹1,824.12 crore, driven by a favorable shift towards high-margin products and an increasing share of exports. HFCL's order book reached an unprecedented ₹21,206 crore, more than double the ₹9,967 crore reported at the end of FY25. The company's Managing Director, Mahendra Nahata, emphasized that FY26 has been a transformative year, with over 21% year-on-year revenue growth and nearly 97% growth in profit before tax. Looking ahead, HFCL plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities for data center interconnect solutions, which are expected to contribute an additional ₹400 crore in FY27 and ₹800 crore in FY28. The company is also venturing into the defence sector, establishing a manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh for products such as electronic fuzes and artillery shells, supported by a confirmed export-oriented order book of approximately ₹1,930 crore.
