Nirav Bajaj, the Chief Executive and Managing Director of Bajaj Integrated Health System, announced plans to establish a tiered healthcare model that encompasses clinics, ambulatory services, home care, and a hospital. This innovative approach aims to prioritize preventive care and minimize hospital visits. The group plans to launch its first clinics and ambulatory centers in Pune within the next six months, while the construction of a 450-bed hospital is expected to take up to four years. Over the next decade, Bajaj Group intends to expand its healthcare services to 12 cities, with Mumbai being the next target. The family sees a compelling opportunity in the healthcare sector, leveraging their legacy while maintaining core family values.
