GITAM Deemed to be University, located in Visakhapatnam, India, is inviting applications for its undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs for the 2026 academic year. The university will conduct the GITAM Admission Test (GAT-2026) on May 17, with applications closing on May 14. Prof. Anantha Ramakrishna, the dean of the School of Science, highlighted the diverse range of undergraduate programs, including four-year B.Sc. (honours) degrees in fields like biotechnology, chemistry, and physics, as well as a three-year Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Postgraduate offerings include two-year M.Sc. programs and an MCA. The university is also providing a unified scholarship framework, allowing deserving candidates to receive fee waivers ranging from 40% to 100%. Additionally, students enrolling in specific B.Sc. programs can benefit from an extra fee waiver of ₹50,000. Candidates with valid scores from national exams such as CUET, JEE, and others are also eligible to apply.
