The Israeli authorities are considering reducing the number of passengers to approximately 2,500, while the Transportation Ministry is advocating for a higher limit of 5,000. Currently, the airport functions normally, with ongoing assessments of the security situation. Haifa Airport is also operating without disruptions, providing flights to destinations such as Larnaca and Athens. El Al Airlines has announced that passengers with tickets for flights until June 13 can postpone their travel for free or receive a voucher for future flights. In response to the escalating situation, the Israeli Tourism Ministry has set up an emergency operations center to coordinate potential relocations of residents to hotels if their homes are damaged due to missile strikes. As of now, there are 27,165 tourists in Israel who entered the country in the last 30 days, and the ministry is prepared to assist with housing evacuees if needed.
