A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) in Mumbai, claiming the life of 28-year-old Rohit Patidar, who worked for Credit Wise Capital. Patidar, a resident of Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, was riding home with his roommate, Satyajit Singh, after a dinner with a friend. The incident took place near the Kanjurmarg bus stop, where Patidar lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into an iron barricade set up for Metro construction. Patidar suffered severe injuries to his head and legs and was declared dead upon arrival at Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar. Singh sustained injuries to his hands and legs but survived. The Vikhroli police have initiated an investigation and registered a case against Patidar under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, related to negligent driving and endangering human life.
