In a tragic incident in Kalka, Panchkula, a four-year-old boy named Rajveer was crushed to death when a cement-laden truck overturned near the Kali Mata temple early Sunday morning. The boy, who was visiting the temple with his family, was waiting by the roadside while his relatives parked their vehicles. Eyewitness Simranjit Singh, the boy's uncle, described how the truck lost control and overturned on Rajveer, killing him instantly. The truck driver, Nishan Singh, aged 58, from Rajpura, Punjab, was also severely injured and succumbed to his injuries shortly after being rushed to the hospital. Local authorities have registered a case of rash driving and causing death by negligence as they investigate the cause of the accident. The bodies of both the boy and the driver were handed over to their families after post-mortem examinations.
