At a review meeting held at the District Collector's office in Nanded, Atul Save, the district guardian minister of Nanded in Maharashtra, instructed officials to conduct surveys and draft a proposal for the expansion of Nanded Airport. Currently, the airport serves flights to seven destinations. The minister emphasized the need for improved passenger amenities and infrastructure.
