Mark alias Mahesh Hira Khemlani, identified as the main drug supplier in the deaths of two MBA students at a techno concert in Goregaon East, Mumbai, was arrested on Friday at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport upon his return from Thailand. This arrest follows the deaths of the students on April 11, after they allegedly consumed Ecstasy pills at the '999999999 Techno Concert'. Khemlani was detained based on a Look Out Circular issued after he fled the country post-incident. He was remanded to police custody until May 6. Investigators allege that he facilitated drug transactions and operated a payment scanner linked to his partner, Jiya Jacob, who is also implicated in the case. With Khemlani's arrest, the total number of accused has risen to 12, and authorities are now probing potential international links to drug trafficking. The investigation aims to uncover whether Khemlani's import-export business was used for drug distribution across borders.
