Ather Energy's Rizta has achieved a remarkable 300,000 unit sales milestone within just two years of its launch in April 2024. Initially introduced as Ather's first family scooter, the Rizta has become a critical driver of sales, significantly contributing to the company's growth. It reached the 200,000 sales mark in December 2025 and added another 100,000 units within five months, indicating a robust demand for family-oriented electric scooters. Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, highlighted that the Rizta has resonated well with families across India, helping Ather secure a leadership position in FY '26 in Southern India. Furthermore, the scooter has expanded Ather's market share in Middle India—covering states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha—by 4X since its launch. In FY '26, the Rizta constituted approximately 76% of Ather's overall portfolio, underscoring its importance to the company's growth strategy.
