Bagmane Prime Office Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) has secured significant backing from the Jhunjhunwala Discretionary Trust as it prepares for its Initial Public Offering (IPO), which opens for subscription on May 5 and closes on May 7. The REIT aims to raise a total of ₹3,405 crore (approximately $410 million USD), with ₹2,390 crore from a fresh issue and ₹1,015 crore from an offer for sale by existing unitholders. It has already raised ₹1,150 crore from anchor investors by allotting 11.49 crore units at the upper end of its price band, which is set between ₹95 and ₹100 per unit. Bagmane Prime Office REIT owns six Grade A+ office parks in Bengaluru, covering 20.3 million square feet with a leasable area of 19.6 million square feet and a high occupancy rate of 98.8%. The trust's tenant roster includes major global companies like Google and Amazon, indicating strong demand for premium office spaces in India. The participation of the Jhunjhunwala Trust is expected to attract further investor interest amid current market volatility.
