The incident occurred on February 1, when at least five rounds were fired at Shetty's residence in the Juhu area of Mumbai. While 15 individuals have been arrested, Shubham Lonkar and Arzoo Bishnoi, members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, are currently wanted for their involvement, having claimed responsibility for the attack via social media. The accused had reportedly conducted reconnaissance of Shetty's house on three occasions prior to the shooting. Following the incident, the alleged shooter, Deepak Sharma, and his accomplices fled to Kalyan, a town in the neighboring Thane district, where they regrouped before escaping to northern states. The police have arrested several individuals, including Ritik Yadav, who allegedly provided shelter to the fugitives.
