Madhav Viradiya has emerged as the Maharashtra topper in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026, achieving a remarkable 100 percentile in both sessions. This achievement marks his first attempt at the JEE, and he successfully repeated the feat in his second attempt. Madhav, originally from Vadodara, Gujarat, has been preparing for the exam for four years and is now focused on qualifying for the prestigious Computer Science programme at IIT Bombay. He attributes his success to the inspiration provided by his father, an engineer, and his elder brother studying at IIT Jodhpur. Madhav managed to balance his Class 12 studies with JEE preparation, dedicating three to four hours daily to self-study. He scored 92 percent in his Class 10 board exams and is currently awaiting his Class 12 results. Registration for JEE Advanced 2026 will begin on April 23, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 17, 2026. Only those securing a rank within the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main can register for JEE Advanced.
