Olive Hospitality, the hospitality division of Embassy Group, has signed a partnership with Hilton to launch 10 Spark by Hilton hotels in India, marking a significant entry into the mid-market hospitality segment. The first two hotels are expected to open later this year in strategic locations such as Bengaluru and Goa. According to Kahraman Yigit, CEO of Olive Hospitality, the increasing urbanization and demand from the middle class have created opportunities in this segment, as many travelers seek reliable and affordable accommodations. Olive currently operates 5,000 keys and aims to expand this number to 10,000 by FY28, with plans to increase its realized revenue from ₹107 crore to ₹200 crore by FY26. Hilton's collaboration with Olive is part of its broader strategy, which includes agreements for 75 Hampton by Hilton hotels with NILE Hospitality and 125 Hampton hotels with Royal Orchid Hotels, positioning Hilton to exceed 400 trading hotels in India in the coming years.
